About the Artist

I began making jewelry for myself about 25 years ago. I began to get serious about making jewelry for myself as well as others when a co-worker told me if she could teach herself to make jewelry (with wire), I could do the same. This young talented woman was making wire sculptured jewelry, wearing it and making gifts for co-workers. I admired her work. She gave me a couple of web sites to look at and I started from there to get very serious about my potentials.

My favorite work is designing my pieces and wire sculpturing/wrapping. I read books on stones and mining, studied fashions trends. The more I research, the more intrigued I become with designing. I absolutely love working with real pearls. Pearls are and always will be the classiest gem in the jewelry business. There are always trends on diamonds, but pearls never fade away in fashion. Pearls can be worn with the richest of designs and fabrics and can make rags appear classy. Every woman should have a set of pearls. They are the epitome of the word 'woman'.

In today's world of financial instability, we all have to cut back and save. That is just a fact of life today.
